This past Saturday, The Hundreds and Scott Caan teamed up for a limited run of t-shirts with Scott's photography on 'em. Here's the video recap.



Scott's come a long way since being a kid rapper in the short lived group The Whooliganz, along with The Alchemist, then going by Mudfoot. I remember back in '93 seeing this video play constantly on the now defunct The Box, which they obviously had their friends dialing in. Scott's LA born/raised and we knew a ton of the same kids growing up. Go back in time, and watch this video..

With all this chaos going on in Iran, felt it was perfect time to give some shine to a few old school West LA friends of mine (and escapees from the original revolution), with the video for their comedic "Iran So Far Away" song. From Malkovich and friends, here it is..

My friend Omid (Beneath The Surface) hipped me to this doc months ago when it had a small screening at the Silent Movie Theatre. Sadly, I had prior engagements. It's a rare visual glimpse into my favorite hip hop movement of all time, the Good Life era of the late 80's/early 90's grown right here in Los Angeles. The movement gave birth to such luminaries as Freestyle Fellowship, Cut Chemist, Volume 10, Ellay Khule, Pigeon John, Busdriver, etc. The doc is playing a one week engagement in Downtown starting tomorrow..
