Art For Obama

Got a package from UPS the other day, opened it and read it, it said there was hope!



In it was the "Art For Obama" book, a compilation and reflection of the Manifest Hope campaign, which I had the blessed opportunity to capture on video in Denver and DC. There is no doubt that the Manifest Hope campaign was critical in getting Obama in office..



Also you may have heard about a month ago, but one of the critical soldiers in that campaign was recently and specifically targeted by Glenn Beck, who eventually had him ousted from his White House press job. You may know Yosi Sergant. Jeff Chang broke it down well in this article. PS to certain repubs, hopefully health care will NOT be Obama's Waterloo, nor ours. Sickened that anybody would even root for failure. Sickened!

Slid to the Youth Ball. A sea of jackets..



Soon as Obama took stage, so did the DC Fire Dept..



Back to the Manifest Hope Gallery in Georgetown for the Jeffrey Wright hosted event.





Next day, stopped by DC's historic Ben's Chili Bowl..



Civil War Museum on U St..



Kid's hair popping out of the telly!



Next morning, back to Cali :)

Manic Wednesdays

Today had lunch @ M Cafe with Chris London who manages the leftist hip hop group U.N.I. Along came Thurz of the group (on left).



Also ran into my buddy Yosi Sergant of Evolutionary PR who was instrumental in the Manifest Hope campaign that was a major factor of Obama heading to the Black House. Yosi let me in on a very cool secret. Frequent back, I'll let you know when it's safe to be revealed. Obama should make this guy press secretary in 2012.



And finally ran into my good casting director friend Julia Kim who is casting my next feature BACKPACKERS.
