Kofie v2

My good friend and renowned street artist Kofie came by my house this morning to bless our backyard gate. If you don't recall, Kofie was one of the featured artists in my first film "Rock Fresh". Here he is and his love affair with jeeps..

Good entry point into a cluster of fresh little videos he's been cutting, experimental time-lapse stuff that proves Kofie always has something raw and unique to offer. Here's a slice..

Brilliant

This kid Kutiman takes youtube clips and remixes them into brand new songs. And clearly has alot of time on his hands - thankfully. A good way to start your week off, here's a funky sample of what he does..

How Did He..?

..allow himself to sign on to starring in the movie "Goods", because obviously somehow this is considered part of 'publicity' for the movie. Oh boy, LOL!

"Return to Oz"

Photobucket

When I ask people about the sequel to "The Wizard of Oz", people usually shrug their shoulders, a clueless look on their faces. If for some reason you missed this in the mid 80's, you might want to rent it. For a children's film, it was pretty damn disturbing! Walter Murch was one of the first directors to take a previous property and drizzle his own stamp over it where you could hardly recognize the original. Now it's par for the course. The film performed poorly at the BO, but in my eyes was absolutely visionary. Here's the trailer..
